Denmark

This morning, we headed straight to Kristiansand, where we queued up for the ferry to Denmark. As on so many ferries during this trip, motorcycles were allowed to board first.

Right on schedule at 1:00 p.m., the Fjord FSTR left the harbor. This impressive high-speed catamaran can reach speeds of up to 70 km/h. It’s always amazing to feel the acceleration as it races across the North Sea.

At 3:25 p.m., we arrived in Hirtshals. From there, we continued for a while on the quiet country roads of Denmark. After days of riding Norway’s endless twisty roads, it felt quite different—but the Danish countryside has its own charm.

Including the ferry crossing, we covered a total of 435 kilometers today.

Tonight we’re staying in a cabin at Hampen Camping. Tomorrow we’ll continue our journey towards Germany. Our adventure is slowly coming to an end, but there are still a few more kilometers to enjoy together.

See you tomorrow!
