Arctic Circle

Today our ferry left as planned at 10:30 from Moskenes to Bodo. The journey took just under 4 hours. It was boring and we got quite tired on the ship. Bodo is a larger town and it took us a while to get through. It was clear that we wouldn’t get very far today, but no matter. As we passed the Arctic Circle at an incredible speed on the way to Nordkapp, we made up for the stop today. The weather was glorious and we almost died of heat exhaustion in the Arctic Circle store. The sight of fur hats, reindeer sweaters and woolly socks only made it worse 🙂 So out of the store and onwards. Now we’ve moved into a cabin in the forest right next to a river at Krokstrand campsite and the green mosquito spiral is glowing. Tomorrow we continue on towards Trondheim.
