Today we drove through the Lofoten Islands to Moskenes. Here there is a mixture of fishing village and high alpine mountains at every turn. You drive between huge mountains and think you are several thousand meters high, but the navigation system only shows 12 meters of altitude, which is of course true, but you only believe it when the sea beach appears around the next corner. The whole area is extremely impressive and becomes more and more interesting towards the southwest. We moved into a premium cabin just before Moskens and tomorrow we’re taking the ferry to Bodo. Now it’s time to watch the World Cup match between Germany and Algeria in the TV room 🙂
