We gradually reduced the layers of clothing today. In the end, we were actually only sweating with the T-shirt under our motorcycle clothes. Every motorcyclist knows what it’s like when you have no wind to cool you down at the traffic lights. It’s like being in an oven… except that the sun is roasting you from above and the engine from below. Today we wanted to ride as far as Trondheim, but we looked for a campsite about 60 km beforehand because we want to go to a KTM workshop near here tomorrow. The rear brake on my bike, which has been acting up for a few days, has now failed completely. We also searched a souvenir store on the border to Nordland, but once again we only found plush moose made in China and lots of kitsch. Tomorrow, straight after the KTM workshop, we’ll continue towards Trondheim and then into the beautiful west of Norway.
