with the catamaran to Denmark…

Today we had a long wait until our ferry left Kristiansand for Hirtshals at 1:30 p.m. As an exception, we took a Fjordline Express ferry. The ferry is a catamaran, comes out of the water at a certain speed and moves on its two planing hulls. At times the ship was traveling at over 70 km/h. Incredible! And that with many motorhomes, cars and motorcycles on board. After disembarking at around 4:00 p.m., we drove another 200 km through Denmark and were now staying at the Blommenhaven campsite by the sea. Tomorrow we will be back in Germany and will spend the night again before we go home 🙂
