Right on time at 7:00 AM, we hit the road, fully packed and heading east. Despite rain being forecasted almost everywhere along the way, we managed to stay completely dry the entire day – talk about good luck!
Our route took us past Stuttgart, Ingolstadt, and Straubing, through the beautiful city of Passau, and finally across the border into Austria. A varied and scenic ride with smooth roads and plenty to take in.
By evening, we arrived in Engelhartszell, a charming town on the banks of the Danube. We checked into a cozy hotel and are spending the night in a comfortable apartment.
Our motorcycles found good company in the garage – parked next to a few stylish Vespas and Lambrettas, making for a perfect two-wheeled lineup.
Tomorrow, we continue the journey – next stop: Hungary. Can’t wait to see what’s ahead!
